Spend an evening at Nickle Galleries where the spheres of art, science and astronomy align to bring you a unique exhibition experience. Artist Dan Hudson along with a roster of scientists and experts from the Department of Physics and Astronomy and the Rothney Astrophysical Observatory will offer their views on the complex art works in the exhibition Dan Hudson: 360 and Other Journeys. As Dan Hudson presents the origins and inspirations for each work, guest physicists and astronomers will offer perspectives from their fields of research. Join us for refreshments and conversation in the Gallery Hall between 6-10pm. Welcoming remarks at 6:20, with tours taking place at 6:30, 7:45 and 9:00. Cash bar available at this event. This family friendly evening is presented by the Department of Physics and Astronomy, the Rothney Astrophysical Observatory and the Nickle Galleries with support from the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada, Calgary Centre.
