Join us to trace the co-evolution of personal mobility and independence through bicycling, and what women’s athletics may mean in pop culture and the modern feminist movement. Presented by Kayla Bonham.

Kayla Bonham is a longtime Calgary bicycle commuter and a Greaser (mechanic) at the Good Life Community Bike Shop. She co-facilitates Gender Equality Magic – GEM – a dedicated women and trans bike workshop program held every Wednesday at the Good Life, and facilitates and attends urban fun cycling events (e.g. Cyclepalooza, Bicycle Belles) as well as sporting-oriented cycling groups (Spin Sisters, Calgary Outdoor Club, Elbow Valley Cycle Club)
