Sarah Jordaan of the Department of Political Science will speak on her research on water resources, energy extraction, energy technology innovation, and unconventional fossil fuels at the Big Rock Grill, 5555–76th Avenue SE, on Wednesday 12 March 2014 at 6:30pm. The evening will include drinks, dinner and lecture ($50); all proceeds will go to fund eight University of Calgary undergraduate scholarshjps per year, each in the lecturer’s home department.
