The Working Mind, geared towards a general workplace audience, aims to increase awareness of mental health, reduce the stigma of mental illnesses, and offer resources to maintain positive mental health and increase resiliency. Equally important goals are to create a supportive environment, strengthen the organizational culture, and contribute to a healthy workplace. The employee version is 3 hours and the manager’s workshop is 6 hours in order to include effective management tools to support employees along the mental health continuum. The training is delivered in two formats – one for current employees of the University of Calgary that is 3.5 hours in length and one for current managers of employees at the University of Calgary that is 7 hours in length. Please note: This training is in a pilot phase and registrants will be asked to complete an optional and confidential pre and post survey to provide feedback on the program. Register Here
