In this session, she will focus on the healthy outcomes of walking (sleep, energy expenditure, activity patterns = reducing the opportunity for disease) as we get older. She’ll also tell us about her current research using the Garmin vivofit personal tracker devices and provide us with an opportunity to participate if we wish. You can find out more on her website – http://doylebakerlab.com/. This event is organized by the University of Calgary Emeritus Association and is sponsored by the Vice-President (University Relations). It is open to the community at no charge.
