Big Rock University proudly presents its next Lecture on Wednesday, 25 February 2015, at 6:30pm at the Big Rock Grill, 5555–76th Avenue SE. For tickets (drinks, dinner, talk) please call 403.720.3239 or e-mail reception@bigrockbeer.com Dr. Sabrina Peric of the Centre for Military and Strategic Studies and the Department of Anthropology will lecture on “Why We Love to Kill”. Peric has done much original research on deadly violence in the Balkans, and she will place her research findings in a large picture of murder in this mad, mad, world. It will be a great night of drinks, dinner and talk. All proceeds go to fund eight University of Calgary undergraduate scholarships per year, each in the speaker’s home department.
