Nearly 20,000 Canadian children are suffering from painful, swollen joints and chronic fatigue that greatly impede their ability to live an active, fun-filled childhood. Not many people know that arthritis affects people of all ages. Researchers at the McCaig Institute are developing innovative treatment and diagnostic tools for a variety of bone and joint conditions, including arthritis. Each year, we host The Wood Forum: a free public event that features short presentations and open discussion with leaders from a specific area of bone and joint health. This is a wonderful opportunity for the public to engage directly with researchers and clinicians and learn more about the latest developments in the field. We are pleased to announce that this year’s Wood Forum will focus on Innovations in Juvenile Arthritis. This is a great opportunity to talk directly to the experts!
