Parkdale Nifty Fifties Senior Association Board of Directors Job Description TREASURER Mandate: to oversee the financial activities of the organization Reports to: Board of Directors, Board President Serves on the Executive Committee. Gives regular reports to the Board on the financial state of organization. Prepares the annual budget in conjunction with the Executive Director. Reviews the bank statements and bank reconciliation on a monthly basis Consults with the accountant and Executive Director on accounting matters. Keeps financial reports on file in conjunction with the Executive Director Chairs the Finance Committee. Acts as signing officer, with another officer or Executive Director for cheques and other documents. Speaks for the budget in partnership with the Executive Director and Finance Committee. Makes sure all necessary financial reports are filed. Ensures that an annual audit is carried out. Orients the new Treasurer.
