Assist students with homework and tutoring materials Position Duties: • Assist primarily elementary students with assigned homework or learning materials in a group setting • Act as a positive role model for children residing at the Centre • Prepare learning materials and packages Patient and able to adapt teaching styles to the child’s learning style • Comfortable working in a culturally diverse environment and with a diverse group of children • Comfortable working with children that have experienced trauma and may exhibit challenging behaviours Minimum of a 1.75-hour shift bi-weekly for 3 months • Shift is Thursdays 4:30-6:15
