Opportunity Description:

Dogs with Wings Assistance Dogs Society is a non-profit charity dedicated to raising Assistance Dogs.                                                                                                                                        We are looking for Puppy Raisers in Calgary! If you love dogs, want to learn more about training, and help #transformlives, please submit an application to become a puppy raiser at https://dogswithwings.ca/helping-us/volunteer-opportunities. *Puppy raisers are supported by DWW staff and trainers throughout the whole puppy raising period.* Some information on Puppy Raising: 1. You will have a puppy until it is ready to move on to advanced training. 2. It will be approximately 14-16 months of commitment, at which time the puppy is returned to DWW. 3. Puppy lives in the home as a member of the family. 4. Puppy and Raiser must attend weekly obedience and socialization training classes. 5. All veterinary and food costs will be covered!
