Well-trained and well-equipped, St. John Ambulance Medical First Response volunteers are at countless public events (sporting, cultural, musical, etc) to provide basic and advanced care when emergencies occur. By being there, St. John Volunteer Medical First Responders are “first on the scene” and the “first to respond” in the critical minutes until medical assistance arrives. The cost of hiring individuals or groups to provide on-site first aid coverage would be prohibitive for many smaller organizations
