JA is Canada’s largest youth education organization, focusing on entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and work readiness skills. We are on a mission to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy. Company Program is an extra-curricular that helps students become financially literate while developing strong leadership and communication skills by creating their own risk-free business. Given the events of the last few years, these skills are more important than ever for young adults in grades 9-12 as they prepare to enter the workforce. This is an 18-week program starting in late November 2023 and ending in March 2024. Each team meets once a week on either Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at venues all over Calgary and surrounding areas. This is where you come in – we need passionate individuals like you to help mentor these teams of young entrepreneurs. No previous experience is needed; we welcome everyone from any industry because you all have something you could pass along to our next generation of business individuals. We also provide all of the training you’ll need to properly mentor the students. Our registration can be found through the link below, if you are able to help out, please take a moment to fill it out. Registration: https://forms.gle/SbNwWEMPon6tgfTc8.
