Opportunity Description:

Classroom volunteers are needed in grade one at Dr. J. K. Mulloy School for the 2024-2025 school year! Join us in grade one and help supervise small groups of 3-5 students as they complete learning games and activities while rotating through reading, writing, and math stations. We will provide all materials, and instructions.  Teachers will always be present in the classroom. We are looking for community members that are interested in a rewarding, volunteer opportunity with children. Ideally, volunteers will have already completed their police security clearance in the past 5 years. However, we can also assist with this process if need be. Volunteers will come in once a week from 10:45-12:30, on either Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. Volunteering will begin the week of September 9 and end the week of December 16.  Winter and spring term opportunities are also available. Dr. J.K.
