About us: Ups and Downs is a registered not-for-profit, volunteer-run organization for individuals with Down syndrome, their families, and their support groups. Our vision is to promote lifelong partnerships that foster family connections, friendships, healthy lifestyles, an inclusive community, and a future without limits. Commitment: 3-5 hours monthly Overview: Ups and Downs is in need of 1-2 Fundraiser Volunteers to create, plan, and execute member fundraisers. Consults with Ups and Downs Executive Director and Volunteer Coordinator. Responsibilities: Create, plan, and execute member fundraisers. Research local groups that are looking for charities to support, and promote Ups and Downs as a charity they should choose. Presentation to new potential donors. Time Commitment: The time commitment for this position is year-round. Check emails and answer any enquiries in a timely fashion. Flexible schedule as needed on individual basis.
