Board Director (Volunteer role)

We are currently seeking qualified candidates to join our Board of Directors to provide strategic leadership and direction, oversight and governance to the organization. \u003C/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003ECanadian Mental Health Association, Alberta Division, and Centre for Suicide Prevention (CMHA AB + CSP), is a provincial organization that leads community mental health and suicide prevention in Alberta, and suicide prevention in Canada. Our Board’s Nominating Committee is currently accepting applications for Board Director positions, to be elected at the Annual General Meeting, in June 2026. Prospective Directors will have a passion for, and commitment to, community mental health and suicide prevention. \u003C/p\u003E\u003Ch2\u003E\u0026nbsp\u003B\u003C/h2\u003E\u003Ch2\u003EWhat’s expected of CMHA AB + CSP Board Directors?\u003C/h2\u003E\u003Ch3\u003ETime commitment\u003C/h3\u003E\u003Cp\u003ECMHA AB + CSP’s Board Directors attend and actively participate in Board meetings and Committee meetings\u003B all Board Directors sit on at least one Committee. The Board and Committees meet at least quarterly.
