About Us

The Rocky Mountain Eagle Research Foundation (RMERF) is dedicated to the study and conservation of eagles and other migrant raptors. Since 1992, RMERF volunteers have performed annual raptor migration counts at the same site location in the Kananaskis Country, Alberta, spring and fall; significantly providing data to the understanding of and amazement in watching Golden Eagles. By engaging in educational outreach and collaborating with other conservation organizations, the foundation aims to promote awareness and appreciation of eagles and their ecological importance.
