About Us

Emma House is a non-profit in Calgary that provides programmed housing to pregnant women and youth who are experiencing homelessness. In 2018 alone, there were close to 3000 Calgarians experiencing homelessness. Emma House is proud to be 1 of 3 organizations in Calgary that work primarily with homeless pregnant women and youth.

At Emma House, we provide our residents with a safe family-like environment, 24/7 trauma-informed care, life skills training, nutritional food, all basic necessities for our moms and babies, as well as comprehensive wrap around services. Over the years, Emma House has helped over 170 women and their babies move out of vulnerability and into healthy and sustainable lives in community.

Emma House Mission

Our mission is to provide housing and support for pregnant women and youth experiencing or at risk of homelessness; empowering them to move out of vulnerability and into a healthy and sustainable life for them and their child.
