About Us
The Calgary Winter Market is a holiday attraction that delivers a delightful winter experience for family and friends, reminiscent of charming European markets. A magical, outdoor European-style winter market in downtown Calgary, designed as a warm and inviting place for people to gather, celebrate the season, and embrace the spirit of Hygge.
Hygge (pronounced “hoo-gah”) is a Scandinavian concept that represents a feeling of warmth, comfort, and connection—created through cozy spaces, meaningful moments, and shared experiences.
Through lighting, food, entertainment, and thoughtful design, this market brings that feeling to life. This is more than a market—it’s an immersive winter experience.
