Organization Type: Animals & Environment
Address: 2118 52 Ave SW, Calgary, Alberta T3E1K3
Contact: Kristen Anderson-Sauve

This is a group of Calgary citizens united to plant trees in and around our city in order to benefit the environment and offset our carbon emissions. Our mandate is to plant native trees and berry bushes with the City of Calgary or independently by finding landowners and farmers with space for trees. We may not be able to have any tree planting events until Covid-19 is under control. But sign up on our website ( or Facebook group (, and we’ll contact you when we have a planning event and we’ll send you newsletters. Or message me if you’d like to volunteer to help with planning and making more partnerships.

Plant just 160 trees to offset your personal carbon footprint for the entire year! Ken Chaplin, in Red Deer planted 15,170 seedlings in one day. Don’t be telling Ken 160 trees per year is too hard!
