World Hijab Day

World Hijab Day Jan 31st – Let’s join together to open religious understanding! Join us for World Hijab Day, a global movement encouraging Muslim and non-Muslim women all over the world to wear a hijab for one day – to open one’s perspective on religious understanding. The Muslim Students’ Association (MSA) and the Faith & Spirituality Centre are partnering together to bring you this event. Globally observed on February 1st, the University of Calgary will participate on Friday, January 31st to connect with students during the school week. How to get involved: Step 1: Register for the event on our website. Step 2: Visit the MSA’s table in MSC on January 31st to pick up a Hijab, learn how to put one on, and to learn more. Step 3: Join us on Monday, February 3rd from 4-5pm in the Loft for a discussion on your experience!
