Danielle Aubry will be sharing her story on Thursday, Dec. 1, from 12-1 p.m. for the Women Leaders Speaker Series coinciding with the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender Based Violence. Danielle is a leader in anti-violence work as the executive director of Calgary’s primary sexual assault and sexual abuse service, Calgary Communities Against Sexual Abuse. Her work in establishing the organization as a stable presence in the community earned her national recognition in 1998 when she was awarded one of Canada’s Top 40 Under 40 leadership and management awards, and we are excited to hear about the path that led to where she is today. This free event is open to everyone.
