Tenth Annual Student Legal Assistance (SLA) Charity Golf Tournament

On Thursday, July 24, 2014, we are hosting our Tenth Annual Charity Golf Tournament and Fundraiser to benefit Student Legal Assistance (SLA). Student Legal Assistance is a registered charity through which law students at the University of Calgary volunteer their time to act as pro-bono agents for people in the Calgary area who are financially unable to hire a lawyer. Without this free service many disadvantaged people would be without legal representation in the Civil, Family, Traffic, and Criminal Divisions of the Provincial Court of Alberta. We have invited the legal and business communities of Calgary to join us for a fun day of golf at the Sirocco Golf Course in recognition of the invaluable role SLA plays in the Calgary community. All proceeds raised will go directly to SLA’s operating budget. We hope you are interested in supporting this event.
