Symposium: Material Culture and The First World War – Western Canadian Narratives

The Army Museum of Alberta, one of the component museums at The Military Museums, and the University of Calgary are co-hosting a symposium to be held September 24th and 25th 2014 as a pre-conference to The Great War’s Shadow: New Perspectives on the First World War conference (September 25-28, Calgary and Lake Louise). The symposium is being organized to highlight the importance of material culture in understanding of the First World War.
