“Why Study Logic?” is the title Peirce gave to the second part of the second chapter of his never completed work the Minute Logic. In this paper I will talk about the way Peirce approaches his question and contrast it favourably with the way the question is approached by more recent logicians, notably W. V. O. Quine. http://phil.ucalgary.ca/event/2014-04-04/philosophy-speakers-program-mark-migotti-calgary-why-study-logic
