Gallagher Library Grand Reopening Party

The Gallagher Library is having a party to show off our renovated space! We invite students, faculty and staff will to join us on Friday, October 10 between 2:00 and 4:00 for an informal get-together with coffee, treats, door prizes, and a look at our new facility. If you haven’t been by to see us yet, we have more seating for individuals and groups on the main floor, 58 carrels for quiet study on the lower level, a bookable group project room, and a space that seats about 24 and can be booked for presentations and seminars. Our touch table now hosts a few science apps for students to explore science and engineering concepts such as relative geologic time and thermal conductivity. We would also love to discuss our mini Makerspace, under development, where students will be able to sign out science kits for hands-on learning. We look forward to seeing you!
