Emergency Medicine Research Day will take place on Thursday, April 7th, 2016 in Theatre 1 of the Health Sciences Centre at the University of Calgary. Each year this event showcases the cutting edge research initiatives and accomplishments of local physicians, nurses, residents, students and allied health professionals with an impact on Emergency Medicine. We are excited to announce our keynote speaker Dr. Paul Atkinson, Emergency Physician, Site Director and Research Director at the Saint John Regional Hospital, Department of Emergency Medicine. Dr. Atkinson maintains a variety of academic appointments, including professorships at Dalhousie University and Memorial University of Newfoundland and chairing the Dalhousie Emergency Medicine Research Committee. Dr. Atkinson will be presenting his work on Ultrasound in the Emergency Department.
