U of C philosophy professor Dr. David Dick will bring a talk on John Locke’s influential theory of property rights. He will show that while Locke often taken as endorsing unlimited acquisition of wealth with nothing owed to those in need, in fact his theory is built on substantial human obligations to each other and to those in need.
