Get Ready to Get Hired! Mock Interview/Panel Day Nov 14, 2014 09:00 AM to 05:00 PM Get Ready to Get Hired – Mock Interview Day November 14th, 9am-5pm This is the final installment of the Get Ready to Get Hired Event Series, which will combine the results of the Get Ready to Get Hired career and resume workshop (October 15th) and get you face to face in front of real medical and industry-based Alberta professionals in a relevant field to your studies and future career! You will be interviewed by our visiting professionals, using your enhanced resume from the October 15th career workshops, for 1 of 3 mock job postings of your choice. Our professionals will select one “applicant” who they would have chosen to hire from their interview experiences throughout the day, giving you a chance to not only win some great prizes, but possibly making some lucrative business contacts throughout the process! At the end of the interview period, there will be an engaging panel discussion and a networking period with free food and drinks. The day will provide you with multiple opportunities to learn how to market yourself effectively for the transition from academia to your professional career.
