Are you smarter than a linguist? United Way Fundraiser

The Linguistics section of the Department of Linguistics, Languages and Cultures is once again hosting the United Way “Are you smarter than a linguist?” trivia contest fundraiser, where teams from across the university go head-to-head matching their repositories of useless knowledge against the legendary Lingwits! Prizes include a $300 LDL coupon (with additional prizes for 2nd and 3rd place, as well as 50/50 draws, and door prizes. Important info: – The event will take place at the Last Defence Lounge on Monday, November 30th, starting at approximately 5pm. – You are invited and encouraged to come out and support the teams or join one! – The contact person for this event is Danica MacDonald – danica_in_korea@yahoo.com Everyone is invited to attend this event, whether you want to play, watch, host, or just eat and drink (Note – 15% of the profits to the LDL from 5pm – 8pm that evening will be donated to the United Way).
