In this somewhat dark comedy, a young man with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) embarks on a journey to fulfill his desire to live independently. The film will be introduced by Dr. Adam McCrimmon. After the film he will lead a discussion about current research on the transition to adulthood for those with ASD and the community based supports and programs available in the Calgary area. Venue: The Globe Cinema, 617 – 8 Avenue S.W. As always, admission is free and includes a small popcorn. No need to RSVP or reserve. Doors open at 6:00 pm.

Dr. McCrimmon is a Registered Psychologist and Assistant Professor, Werklund School of Education, and Director of the Autism Spectrum Education, Research, and Training (ASERT) program, University of Calgary.
