When: 12 March 2016, 9:30-4:30 Where: MacEwan Conference Centre, Cassio A/B The English Honours Undergraduate Symposium is an opportunity for students to showcase unique research from their year-long honours projects. The symposium will feature critical work alongside multiple creative projects by students within the English Department’s Creative Writing Program. This year’s title, “Objects in Mirror,” celebrates the variety of ways in which one can read, interpret, and analyze literary texts. Students’ projects vary widely and cover topics as diverse as Twitter fiction, Indigenous science fiction, and food in works by Charles Dickens. All are welcome at this event. Breakfast, lunch, snacks, and refreshments will be served throughout the day.
