Jaws dropped around the world on October 9, 2008 as a small collective of bankers brought an entire nation to its knees. The banking policies and governmental structures that had been in place showed themselves to be grossly inadequate. The time had come to reflect and redesign. Blueberry Soup documents the Icelandic community taking back power from a fractured government while demanding swift and necessary changes to save their country. The film documents the inspired work of a group of Icelandic citizens striving to save their country by rewriting their nation’s constitution. Pizza lunch will be provided.
