Join us in the Women’s Resource Centre to increase mental health awareness and reduce the discrimination and stigma associated with mental health issues. We aim to bring attention to the specific obstacles that accompany mental health in families with cultural and religious backgrounds outside the North American majority. We aim to discuss personal stories and end the discussion with potential initiatives that could help in decreasing stigma around mental health in diverse communities. All individuals are welcome to join the conversation or just come to listen. No registration required. Coffee and tea provided. For more info visit http://www.ucalgary.ca/women/mha
