Refresher Workshop for Copyright

Would you like to review which educational exceptions in the Copyright Act are applicable to you as an instructor? Would you like a reminder of the how we manage copyright at the University of Calgary? Spend half an hour learning how the Copyright Office can assist you with ensuring your course materials are copyright compliant. Three main topics will be discussed: 1) Use of images and charts under the fair dealing exception 2) Use of cinematographic works in class 3) Assistance available from the Copyright Office Presentation will be 30 minutes with an additional 30 minutes for questions.
