Alberta is on the cusp of a new age of energy efficiency. After decades of relatively little activity, the provincial governmentis once again working on new energy efficiency programs and policies. The Alberta Energy Efficiency Alliance (AEEA) –a group of companies, municipalities, non-profits and individuals –has been the primary voice calling for these new initiatives. Come hear from the AEEA about the state of energy efficiency in Alberta at a time when it’s becoming increasingly important.

As the Executive Director of the Alberta Energy Efficiency Alliance, Jesse works with Alliance members to increase energy efficiency in Alberta. This work ranges from engaging the provincial government to hosting an annual event focused on energy efficiency. Jesse has over 15 years of experience in the energy industry working on a variety of topics including community energy planning, biofuels, life-cycle assessment and energy policy research. This work has primarily taken place as a consultant to various companies, municipalities, First Nations and other orders of government. Jesse graduated with a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alberta and is a registered professional engineer.
