Opportunity Description:

4:13 Therapeutic Riding Association is looking for help for our lesson programs as well as behind the scenes operations! Our program provides horseback riding and horsemanship lessons to kids and adults with special needs.   Volunteers are responsible for grooming, tacking, and turn-out of lesson horses.  Those experienced in handling horses will be given the opportunity to work as horse leaders in lessons.  Volunteers without horse experience will start by working as side-walkers and arena helpers. Volunteers don’t need any experience, just a positive attitude!  We will train volunteers and we encourage people who would like more horse experience and who would eventually like to lead horses in lessons, to let us know so we can teach you!
