Hello past and future volunteers! The GRAND needs your help!The GRAND is operating its annual Casino Fundraiser on Wednesday April 19th & Thursday April 20th at PURE Casino Calgary (1420 Meridian Rd NE, Calgary, AB T2A 2N9), and we are looking for people who are passionate about the arts to help us make the event a great success! Proceeds will directly help foster arts programming in Calgary, and guide The GRAND through its next chapter. Thanks for supporting The GRAND and sign up to volunteer today! If you are interested, here’s what you need to know: Volunteering at a Casino is easy and FUN! An experienced Casino advisor and Countroom advisor are on hand at ALL times to train, oversee and support the volunteers. There are also many other experienced volunteers and casino staff available to ensure you are comfortable and have fun; you don’t need prior experience! All volunteers must be over the age of 18 and must not have a criminal record. Food is provided to volunteers free of charge. Volunteers are accepted on a first come, first serve basis for available shifts. If you volunteer for both days, you must work in the same position, e.g. you cannot work as a cashier one day and chip runner the next.
