Opportunity Description:

Primary Responsibilities: Help Set up program room as appropriate for the activity and clean up when finished Help the program coordinator facilitate the activities for the class, including but not limited to dancing, playing games, hanging out and having conversations Actively engage with the participants in the activities as a friend Provide support and instill confidence in the participants, always asking before giving assistance Communicate with Program Coordinator regarding schedule and any advanced notice of absence. Last minute cancellations must be communicated to CPAA staff by calling cell phone number as provided Offer support, suggestions and interact with new volunteers Must follow all safety rules and safe work practices. Provide current police /child Intervention check every year   Expectations, Qualifications and Skills: Able to engage positively with participants Must be dependable and punctual Be self-directed, willing to take initiative Ability to work with a diverse population Must have good communication skills Must have good decision-making skills Commitment: Fridays: 12:30-3pm
